Don't have a REAL ID or acceptable for of ID?
How might this impact your travel from State College Regional Airport?
Starting Feb. 1, 2026, TSA will enforce REAL ID requirements at security checkpoints nationwide.
At the State College Regional Airport (just like any U.S. airport), TSA will require travelers to present acceptable ID to fly.
If a passenger arrives without one, they’ll be directed into TSA Confirm.ID — which means extra processing, a wait (possibly 10–30 minutes or more), and a $45 fee before being allowed through.
The best way to avoid delays and extra cost? Bring an acceptable ID (REAL ID or passport) when you travel.
